Homework 1/13/16 (with solution)

Homework for today is:

a) Make sure you understand how we did the problem in class regarding optimization using mini-max.  (If per chance you were not in class today, it is still your responsibility to make this work up.  It says so some place in the student’s handbook.)

b) Do the following problem which I directed step by step to break it up into small pieces.   Optimization Applications beam problem

c) Study the two problems I have in the review packet that I marked as extra credit.  The next test they will be regular credit.  Make sure you  understand how to do them.

When you finish, don’t run away from the problems.  Take a minute to think about the process and steps you took, and maybe make your own outline for future use.
